  Sculpture Workshop Series
  Five Saturdays, August 22–Sept 12 plus glazing day October 10, 2026, 9:30 am–3:00 pm (plus open studio hours) $575 includes materials & firings
  From ideation using collage and sketching on paper to sketches in clay, we'll zero in on one or more directions that have meaning for you to explore in clay sculpture. Utilize and practice basic clay techniques including working solid and hollowing, pinch, coil and slab building. Start working at a size that's comfortable for you and if you wish, challenge yourself to work bigger. I'll be there to help you with plenty of troubleshooting and problem solving along the way. A glazing day a few weeks later will give you a chance to explore options on your bisque-fired pieces. Bisque and glaze firings included.
  Some familiarity with handbuilding (pinch, coil, slab) is recommended. Limited enrollment.
