I was working on this Kimo cat when we paid a visit to fabulous painter Alison O'Donoghue one day and met her kitty, known as Kitty, whose real name is Chloe. Alison was talking about how Kitty went out all night and outsmarted the coyotes and other critters. I imagined Kitty sneaking around in the high grass and got the idea for how to finish this piece.
